Primary Use Case
- Monitor for burst pipes in drop ceilings
- Base of water heater in mechanical room
- Main water line
- Grease trap
Not recommended for:
Installation in areas that are frequently mopped or washed down will provide false positives.
Installation Tips:
If water touches anywhere along the yellow/black length of cord, an alarm will be issued
- Unravel sensor cable and allow to straighten out to provide good contact with surface to be monitored for water.
- Utilize provided cable ties in addition to other fasters (such as tape) to firmly affix sensor to the surface you're planning to monitor.
