VersaTile Setup

Preparing to integrate your VersaTile unit seamlessly into your refrigerator is essential to ensure its optimal performance. Before diving into the installation process, follow these initial steps carefully. Keep in mind that signal strength plays a crucial role in this process.

It is not recommended to setup/configure your VersaTile before moving to its final installed location. Successful connection in one location (in an office as an example), doesn’t guarantee connectivity once moved to its final installed location.

  1. Follow the VersaHub add unit instructions (scan QR code).
  2. When asked to press the “setup” button, STOP.
    • Place VersaTile in its intended location for installation (i.e., inside refrigerator).
    • Press “setup” button (For refrigeration, close door afterwards).
  3. Proceed with setup on mobile device and follow VersaHub add unit install instructions.
    • IMPORANT: Once connected to “VersaTile” WiFi network, inspect the signal strength of your intended connection network.
    • Signal strength of 4 Bars or greater is recommended.
    • If below 4 bars, consider installing VersaTile on exterior of refrigeration with an add-on temperature.
    • Use “refresh” button to reload and verify signal strength (Figure 2).
    • Listen for the 4x beeps that indicate success.
  4. Finish connection and proceed through add unit setup.
